Garbodor Vivid Voltage Deck

Overview

Garbodor attack, Trash Cyclone does 30 damage times total number of Pokemon Tool cards in your discard pile. If you have 12 Pokemon Tools in your discard pile, you can OHKO any of your opponent's Pokemon. And you only need 2 Colorless Energy to use this attack. But, the problem is that you have to shuffle all those Pokemon Tools into your deck after you use Trash Cyclone. So, you have to discard those Pokemon Tools again in order to increase Trash Cyclone damage.

On the other hand, you will never deck out since there will be always cards left in your deck after you use Trash Cyclone. So, Garbodor is very good against opponent that tries to win by emptying your deck.

Discarding Pokemon Tools

Your deck must have strong discarding power in order to bring out the full power of Transh Cyclone. In the early game, you can either use Professor's Research or Dedenne GX Ability, Dedechange to discard Pokemon Tools from your hand and draws 7 or 6 cards respectively. The faster you can thin down your deck, the better this deck works.

In the late game, Zebstrika Ability, Sprint become very crucial for Trash Cyclone attack. Because there won't be many Supporter or Dedenne GX  left in your deck anymore to discard Pokemon Tool. Sprint Ability let your discard your entire hand and draw 4 cards and you can use Sprint Ability multiple times since it is not limited to use one time per turn. So, you can setup more Zebstrika to discard more Pokemon Tools Cards.

For instance, if only Pokemon Tools are left in your deck, you can easily discard more than 8 Pokemon Tools with Sprint Ability with 3 Zebstrika. Assuming that there are less than 4 Pokemon Tools in your hand, the first Zebstrika will discard some Pokemon Tools. The following Zebstrika will discard 4 Pokemon Tools from your hand.

Pokemon Tools

Here are some of the Pokemon Tools that work great for Garbodor.

Giant Bomb might prevent your opponent from attacking Garbordor with more than or equal to 180 damage since the Pokemon Tool with activate and put 10 damage counters on attacking Pokemon. Also, the Pokemon Tool with discard itself at the end of your turn.

If you have few cards in your hand left, you can equip your attacking Garbordor with Lucky Egg. This will allows you to draw until you have 7 cards after your attacking Garbordor is knocked out during your opponent's next turn.

If you have more Prize Cards than your opponent, you can attach Counter Gain to Garbodor and use its attack, Trash Cyclone with 1 Colorless Energy.
